This FAQ is designed to answer the practical questions you may have before travelling to the conference, arriving at Weetwood Hall, taking part in the day and arranging accommodation. Where is the conference being held?
The conference is being held at Weetwood Hall Estate, Otley Road, Weetwood, Leeds, LS16 5PS.
Weetwood Hall is a four-star hotel and conference venue set within nine acres of woodland and gardens, centred around a historic Jacobean Manor House. The hotel is approximately four miles from Leeds city centre.
What time should I arrive?
Registration is from 8:30am to 9:30am.

9:30am – 10:45am – Welcome Address and Keynote
10:45am – 11:10am – Refreshment Break
11:10am – 1:10pm – Morning Workshop
1:10pm – 2:30pm – Lunch and optional personal wellbeing activities
2:30pm – 4:15pm – Afternoon Workshop
4:15pm – 4:30pm – Refreshment Break
4:30pm – 5:50pm – Final Whole Group Session and closing remarks

Accommodation
Can I stay at Weetwood Hall?
Yes. Weetwood Hall offers hotel accommodation, with 110 en-suite bedrooms.
If booking directly with the hotel, conference delegates should state that they are attending the conference and ask for the 10% conference delegate discount referred to in the conference information.
Please note that the conference information also advises delegates to compare prices with other booking websites, as these may sometimes be cheaper.

The conference information identifies two nearby alternatives:

Delegates should check current prices and availability directly before booking.

What time is hotel check-in and check-out?

Food and Drink

Is food included in my conference ticket?
Yes. A catered hot and cold buffet lunch is included in the conference ticket.
Will refreshments be available?
Yes. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. Pastries will be available on arrival, with refreshments and appropriate snacks provided during the morning and afternoon breaks.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Yes. All dietary requirements can be catered for.
Please make sure that any specific dietary requirements have been included on your conference form.

Quiet Space and Wellbeing
Is there a quiet space at the conference?
Yes. A dedicated SILENT room will be available away from the main gathering room. Directions will be available from the NETAC Conference registration desk.
The space is intended for delegates who need time to reset, decompress or spend some time away from the stimulation of the main conference environment.
Please respect the silent nature of this area.

What happens during the extended lunch break?
There will be a range of optional personal wellbeing activities.
Some will be led group activities, while others can be undertaken independently and at your own pace.
A list of available activities will be provided on arrival.
You do not have to take part in an activity if you would prefer to use the time to eat, rest, network or simply have some quiet time.

Accessibility
Is Weetwood Hall accessible?
Yes. Weetwood Hall states that it is committed to accessible facilities and has National Accessible Scheme accreditation for part-time wheelchair users.
The hotel provides:
•    Ramped access to the hotel and conference facilities
•    A wheelchair-accessible lift to conference rooms on the first floor
•    Accessible conference and meeting rooms
•    Designated accessible parking bays near the hotel and conference reception
•    Accessible public toilet facilities
•    Two adapted ground-floor bedrooms with wet-room facilities
If you have specific accessibility requirements, it is advisable to contact the organisers and/or hotel in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be confirmed.

What Should I Bring?
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You should bring:
•    Your conference registration details/ticket
•    A notebook and pen or electronic device if you wish to take note
•    A reusable water bottle if you wish to fill up through the day at the water station
•    Comfortable clothing suitable for the conference and any optional wellbeing activities
You do not need to bring food or refreshments unless you have a particular personal preferences.

CPD Certificates
Will I receive a CPD certificate?
Yes. A QR code will be available at the conference. Delegates will be asked to complete a brief survey evaluating their conference experience.
At the end of the survey, there will be a link allowing you to download your CPD certificate.

Practical Information
Is the hotel cashless?
Yes. Weetwood Hall’s current booking terms state that the hotel is cashless and accepts contactless credit/debit card payments rather than cash or cheques.

Is there Wi-Fi?
Weetwood Hall provides Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Is the hotel non-smoking?
Yes. The hotel is completely smoke-free apart from designated outdoor smoking areas.
